She is one of the most influential female writer and poets. She is an author of many books such as Little Women, Little Men, Jo’s Boys. She was born on November 29, 1832 in Germantown. She is the second daughter of Amos Alcott and Abby May. She is the second of 4 siblings. She has 3 sisters; Anna Bronson Alcott, Elizabeth Sewall Alcott, and Abigail May Alcott. In 1834, Louisa’s father established a school with Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. His opinion on education influenced Louisa. In Louisa’s early study, she got lots of lesson from many famous writer such as Henry David Thoreau who is the one that gave her inspiration to write.
